April 23rd 2008 God Dreams over us?
A couple mornings back, before my mind had completely come awake. The Lord spoke to my spirit and said, “I want you to ask ME if there is anything more that should be added to the painting you are doing right now. So in my sleepy state I asked Him. Immediately I saw the Lord lying on His back blowing bubbles. Each bubble was filled with a dream he had for a different person. Did you know God dreams about us? We have dreams, and hopes but did you know that the creator of the universe, the one that knows you better than you know yourself, dreams and has vision for your future? He longs to go through life with you. Not dictating to you decisions you should make, and not standing silently by, but walking beside you and planting dreams and hopes into your very heart, that are perfect for you as only your creator could do.
Sometimes when I am painting or writing I feel the Lord laughing and delighting in the creative ability He has given me. Sometimes He gives ideas, but sometimes He just enjoys the process of creating WITH me.
Sometimes we try to be people we are not, because we long for society’s acceptance, but there is nothing that brings more joy than being what you were created to be with Him that created you and knows you best.
So you messed up? God is a creative genius. He can take the most broken lives and make the most beautiful expressions of His Love out of them. Nothing is too difficult for Him. So I challenge you to let go completely, and say God, “I’m ready to receive a dream or two from your heart for me!"
